چکیده
Abstract Background Myopericarditis following vaccination for Sars–CoV2 disease (COVID–19) is a described entity, but its long–term evolution not yet clear. Methods Patients diagnosed with myopericarditis after COVID–19 mRNA vaccine represented our population. Clinical evaluation, laboratory tests, noninvasive echocardiography, and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) were performed at baseline, six months, twelve months. Results Between January August 2021, we identified 7 patients Sars–CoV 2 mRNA. The mean age of the was 29 years (IQR: 25.5–53.5 years). all male. median time from administration to symptom onset 5 days 4–7 days); five received BNT162b2, two mRNA–1273, only one patient developed symptoms first dose. most common presentation chest pain (100%) fatigue (71.4%). Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) remained preserved in 6 them while it found be slightly reduced (median LVEF: 61.3% [IQR: 60–62.9%]). Late Gadolinium enhancement (LGE) detected by CMR 42.9% cases. Treatment conservative except whom pericardiocentesis required due massive pericardial effusion. At 6–month follow–up asymptomatic normal troponin levels, electrocardiographic echocardiographic parameters CMR, data which confirmed complete resolution inflammatory state. twelve–month follow–up, picture. Two booster dose without evidence myopericardial involvement. Conclusions COVID19 vaccination–associated more frequent young males usually characterized benign evolution.

Myopericarditis following smallpox vaccination.
Myopericarditis has been a rare or unrecognized event after smallpox vaccinations with the New York City Board of Health strain of vaccinia virus (Dryvax; Wyeth Laboratories, Marietta, Pennsylvania). In this article, the authors report an attributable incidence of at least 140 clinical cases of myopericarditis per million primary smallpox vaccinations with this strain of vaccinia virus. Fifty-e...
متن کاملMyopericarditis: A Diagnosis of Uncertainty
Myocarditis can present in many different forms and can be overlooked by more life-threatening conditions. At times it may mimic conditions such as acute myocardial infarction and although it may have features highly suggestive of myocarditis, other etiologies need to be excluded. Thus, due to its clinical presentation, lab findings, and electrocardiogram analysis, it often can be confused with...

OBJECTIVE To estimate the longterm humoral response of an antipneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)-associated spondyloarthropathy (SpA), and the effect of demographic and clinical factors and treatment on the longterm efficacy of the vaccine. METHODS ...

Figure 2 Facies in FAS particularly characteristic of the prepubertal child. Features on the left side are the most definitive. Those on the right side are less differentiating. Microcephaly (small head circumference) is not a facial feature per se, but a central nervous system characteristic. (Epicanthal folds: small fold of skin covering inner corner of the eye; philtrum: zone between nose an...
